Central African Republic

This project supports churches in the Central African Republic addressing climate change and its impact on food security through a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach. Key activities included a series of sensitization workshops, the planting of 100,000 trees, and the development of strategic recommendations for regional prefectures. Clergy participants completed the workshops and subsequently formed advocacy teams to engage public officials to promote the adoption of climate-resilient policies and programs.

“This seminar challenged me on my failure and that of the church that I lead.  I ask my Lord for forgiveness, and I commit to working from now on to protect nature.  My church will work to plant trees this year.  God bless the Baptist World Alliance”
