You’ve heard about the 7.4 earthquake in Colombia. Baptists are already responding across the Western side of their nation where severe damage hit in cities such as Cali, Pereira, Armenia, Manizales and Quibdó.

They need your help. BWAid is already sending short term funding, but your generosity will help in the days and weeks ahead after the media attention moves on, but people are still displaced, injured, and in need of support.

The Rev. James Mauricio Rozo Peralta, President of the Colombian Baptist Denomination has forwarded the following and is deeply grateful for your prayers of support.

1. Pray for the pastors and their churches that need care and support.
2. Pray for comfort and strength for the families who have lost loved ones.
3. Pray that the aid being provided may serve as a testimony and bring relief in this time of calamity.
4. Pray for the families who are waiting for the rescue of their loved ones.
5. Pray for the volunteers serving in the search for people trapped in the collapsed buildings.
