BWAid is committed to equipping the global Baptist family with practical resources, training, and tools to respond effectively to humanitarian crises and community needs around the world. Through collaboration, compassion, and shared expertise, these resources are designed to strengthen local churches, ministry leaders, and partners as they bring relief, hope, and long-term support to vulnerable communities.

BWA Baptist Vulnerability Index

The annual BWA Baptist Vulnerability Index, typically published in July, brings attention to those within our global family living in the most vulnerable and challenging countries in the world.

It is defined by four key factors (hunger, livelihood, violent conflict, religious freedom challenges) and with additional BWA regional leadership input. It offers a global reflection based upon a unique scoring metric in order to highlight these challenging realities and to call the global BWA Baptist family to stand together in intentional solidarity.
