This food security project was implemented in response to a devastating earthquake, addressing the urgent needs of affected communities. It focused on improving nutritional well-being and supporting early recovery efforts.

  • Supported 3,611 individuals with basic food packs 
  • Delivered emergency food assistance to improve nutrition 
  • Provided shelter and essential non-food items 
  • Contributed to immediate relief and early recovery efforts 

Context & Ongoing Needs

The community has not yet fully recovered from the impact of the earthquake. Additional funding is required to address existing gaps and continue supporting affected families in their recovery process.

We live in the slums of Bheri Municipality, Jajarkot. The earthquake destroyed our home and injured my son. That winter, we lived under a tarp near the bus park. He dreams of starting a poultry farm, but we can’t afford it.”
