The training aimed to unite Baptist churches across Ethiopia and equip them with essential skills and resources for disaster preparedness, resource mobilization, and peacebuilding within the unique context of Ethiopian society. With a focus on supporting vulnerable groups—including women, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities—the initiative trained 60 Baptist pastors in emergency response and peacebuilding. It also fostered stronger collaboration by establishing a network and forum for ongoing cooperation among Baptist churches in responding to local disasters.
