Standing in Prayer for the Middle East

Standing in Prayer for the Middle East

The Middle East is experiencing a profound shift in its regional dynamics. Civilian populations are being affected, with mass displacement and significant humanitarian needs. Southern Lebanon, for example, has seen hundreds of thousands of people forced from their homes, many stranded without shelter or basic necessities. The crisis is affecting multiple countries, with consequences that extend beyond immediate borders. Our partners on the ground are closely monitoring the unfolding events, highlighting both the geopolitical and human dimensions of the conflict.

Our partners have highlighted several urgent prayer needs. They ask for wisdom for leaders and staff, guidance to balance immediate relief with long-term ministry goals, and calm, hope, and generosity within communities. Protection and peace for civilians across the region are a key concern, along with support for children affected by displacement and conflict. There is also a need for unity and encouragement for churches, including those serving underground or persecuted communities. Partners pray for the continuation of aid efforts, safety for those serving others, recovery and redevelopment, and for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of all affected. Above all, they seek peace and stability across the region while maintaining faithful witness and service. Please help us with your prayers and support!
