Registration Fee – 175 USD per person
- Covers accommodation (twin sharing basis), meals and course material for the 4-day course.
- Participants will be expected to cover their own international related-cost.
- Partial travel scholarships may be available upon request.
The Baptist Humanitarian Action Course is hosted by the Baptist Forum for Aid and Development (BFAD) and the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF). This is a four-day intensive regional Humanitarian Course programme designed to equip Baptist leaders, church workers, and local aid practitioners to respond more effectively and safely to disasters and community needs.
Tailored for beginners to those with more advanced experience in the humanitarian aid sector, the training will cover biblical foundations for relief work, community disaster planning, project management, regional coordination and contemporary issues like climate change that impact disasters in the region.
Who Should Attend
- Leaders within BWA Conventions and churches who are responsible for managing aid and development and/or social service projects within the APAC region.
- Those who desire to develop an aid and development ministry as part of the work of the Convention are encouraged to attend.
